Hoping for some tips on suburbs to look at outside London.
We are looking to move from a 2 bed flat in London to a 3/4 house and need some help with areas to research or visit. Our budget is max £550k (and that's with no work needed!)
Criteria:
- garden (decent size so could have a workshop/shed)
- good schools (2 babies)
- commuting distance to London
- potential for jobs (in project management or web development) nearby i.e. companies that may have HQ outside London for example
- period property would be amazing
- safe area to raise kids
Looking at Cheam/Sutton/Carshalton and Haywards Heath at the moment but would like to have another 2/3 places to research too.
