Make me a list of things to do for a house move

Moving in approximately 3-4 weeks (just waiting to exchange). We are going to be moving in with friends and putting our things in storage so don't need to worry about the other end at the moment.
What things do I need to do? I know the basics obviously, but what are the things that you perhaps forgot to do? Trying to make a list myself but my mind is all over the place at the moment. Thanks in advance!

In no particular order;

Pack things for storage (buy packing materials?)
Book storage
Bookremovals/van
Pack things to take with you
Clean house
Empty/defrost freezer
Day of move - notify all utilities and give final readings
Any pets to consider?
Take down curtains/blinds/light fittings/shelves/pictures/mirrors etc that are not included in the sale
Set up post redirection

shop around for storage, it costs a bomb - make sure it is warehouse not container. price up insurance. get rid of lots, cheaper to buy again second hand than store.
