Anyone used glass frosting in a bathroom?

Considering spray-on glass frosting for a window in our bathroom which isn't as private as we'd like. Can't use the window film stuff as the window is made up of lots of individual and uneven squares of glass.

Does anyone have any experience of using the spray glass frosting and how it lasted? Bonus points for use in a (steamy) bathroom.

Yes I do! I did bathroom door with the word bathroom blocked out so that it stayed clear. Takes a while as you need to build up the layers. Lasted about 15 years before the edges around the lettering began to crack and peel.

And it is a small room so very steamy.

Brilliant, thank you! Good to know. Do you happen to remember what brand you used by any chance?

It was Rust-oleum semi transparent matt finish.

Thank you for that - big help. Smile

Yep, we used Rust-oleum spray too. I'd suggest practicing on a spare bit of glass first so as to get an even covering.
