If you were building a partitian wall how easy would it be to put a hole/window in it?

Odd question I know

But I like a bath I like to wash my hair in the bath but use a shower attachment & DH likes a shower

His shower is next to my bath separated by a (to be built) tiled wall

He has picked one of those shower that has a shower head at the top plus a spare shower haead you can aim.....

I wondered if I have a hole in the tiles wall if I could borrow the spare shower head and save buying bath taps with a shower attached (which are pretty ugly)

Daft idea? We are very unlikely to be using both at the same time Hmm

Look at wall hung shower taps

If you ever want to sell your house don’t do it. You think the taps are ugly, everyone else will think your 60’s serving hatch is completely nuts-it is!

Honestly, I think that would be both weird and impractical. Not only would the shower have to reach through, but you'd need to be able to easily reach the controls - which will presumably be wall mounted - so probably having to stand up in the bath.

In addition, having a shower on the bath makes it much easier to clean, and if you're draping it through a hole in the wall it may not easily reach all of the bath.

A home between bath and shower may also inadvertently end up looking like some kind of peephole and I think it would put buyers off in future.

I also don't agree that all shower taps are ugly. We have one like this www.victorianplumbing.co.uk/hudson-reed-tec-lever-4-tap-hole-bath-mixer-w-swivel-spout-shower-kit-hose-retainer?campaign=googlebase&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIgLjkr5nX2gIVDLTtCh2LwwpREAQYAyABEgLeL_D_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds and the shower he'd just stands in the corner next to the taps - it pulls out of a hole and is beat and tidy when it in use.

Glory hole. That is all.
