Help! We're currently selling our house that we bought using the Help to Buy equity loan scheme. We're so close to being able to exchange contracts but we're waiting for confirmation of what we owe the Government from their agents called Target HCA. Does anyone have any experience of how long this might take? We sent all the relevant stuff 2 weeks ago, I'm currently sat on hold to them, and have been for 30 minutes and I don't appear to be getting any further down the queue!
