We are exchanging contracts next week and just this morning - with appalling timing - a wet patch has appeared on our bedroom wall.
We are getting a builder around ASAP to assess and will pay for it to be fixed & repainted. We are pretty sure we know what the culprit is (rendering letting water in) but obviously worrying it's more serious.
Obviously we will also tell our purchasers, how much do you think this would put them off? We will offer to pay all repair costs.
