Hello All,

We are currently in East of UK. My husband got a Job in Manchester but we will be travelling to London twice a week. We have 4 and 7 yr old kids, so want to move some place which has good Schools, High street shopping, Cinemas and parks. definitely no Villages. My older one want to try for Grammar School.

Any Suggestions please

Thanks in advance.

Leamington Spa. Close to the Warwickshire grammars. Chic shops featuring Space N.K, glorious parks. Top restaurants.

Closest to Manchester with grammar school options is Trafford but they are very hard to get into these days. Fast train (less than 2 hours) from Stockport, which is a 15-20 minute drive from parts of South Manchester (which also has the tram from access to Manchester City Centre).

The Wirral has grammar schools. There's also Clitheroe that has a grammar school (I think) but that's a trek to London.

Live in Manchester! Covers all of your criteria and there is a direct train to London :)
