Ikea kitchen fitter North London / just generally London? Please! [desperate emoticon]

Can anyone recommend an Ikea kitchen fitter in North London? We have to replace kitchen to rent it out for a bit (tenants will have higher standards than us!) and so want to put in a fairly basic but nice, new kitchen. Has anyone used a decent fitter in last while?

Have you thought about using Ikea's own fitters? They have good feedback in my area.

I had heard anecdotally that they were very expensive in London, mich more than unassociated fitters who just happened to be able to fit Ikea kitchens if you see what I mean? But good suggestion, I will revisit.

You don’t need a specialist fitter - Ikea kitchens are dead easy to assemble and fitting is fitting.

Great, is that since the new metod one came out? I know there were many complaints from fitters about space for pipes etc with the old type (was it faktum?) but has that all been resolved now?

I’ve had a few of the old and new type installed and have never had a fitter complain. Perhaps if there were problems with the pipes it’s because the plumber installed them sticking out too much? I don’t think there’s an intrinsic issue with Ikea units.
