White glass splashback with white metro tiles - yay or nay?

Kitchen is pretty much underway but I'm struggling to make a final decision about splashbacks.

I've got a flat matt metro tile for most of the walls above the worktop but wanted something different behind the hob (basically something easier to keep clean :o) so was wondering about a white glass splashback.

Would this look odd next to the tiles?

The rest of the kitchen is Diy kitchens linwood in alabaster and an oak worktop.

By splashbacks I mean behind the hob.

Yes, I would opt for stainless steel.

I would go for a pop of colour or stainless steel. I think that the white would look odd because it will be glossy next to the matt tiles.

Good point - I hadn't thought about it looking odd next to the matt tiles.
