White City / Wood Lane / Shepard's Bush commute - where to live?

I will be returning the UK next year to live, working close to Wood Lane.

I shall be alone with my three children: a 5-year-old, 2-year-old and a newborn.

Where would you recommend to live for a commute to White City, Wood Lane or Shepard's Bush, please?

I'm looking for rent around 1,500 - 2,000 per month, and a commute of no more than 1 hour. Ideally, less.

I need schools / day cares to cater to the different ages of my kids, parks / greenery and good shops and amenities nearby.

My preference is the south or west of London.

Thanks for your ideas.

Iirc these places are on the central line. I'd look east along the line past Leytonstone for more value for money.

If you search within a mile of Clapham Junction you can get something like this: www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to-rent/property-49979901.html

The overground line from CJ to Shepherd's Bush is frequent and swift. You can get cheaper and closer to CJ if you're okay to have a flat but thinking with three DC a house would be preferable, esp as a nanny might be your best childcare option with the little ones. Some nice schools around there and plenty of amenities. You could try Acton and beyond too, but south will tend to be more affordable.
