Is 5m too tight to have run of units, island and dining table all parallel to each other?

Kitchen units on back wall (7m) - next island looking out to garden over dining table...worried this is too tight?

One wall is open to lounge area. Opposite wall has door in middle to utility.

room is 5m front to back - anyone have this layout in this 5m space - worried it might be squished?

I think it will work if the island is relatively thin and there are no bar stools. That way, you should have enough space for a table and chairs and still be able to walk past someone sitting at it.
Or you could try to try sth like the layout in the picture.

I wouldn't, we have the same width and it wouldn't fit an island as well as our table. The layout in the picture is the only way that would work but the table is really thin.
