Has anyone knocked into their coal shed/toilet to make kitchen bigger?

We have a 30's house in which the kitchen has an inside pantry, and then an outside toilet and coal shed - in the (far away!) future we'd like to make the kitchen bigger - have no idea of price, I'm thinking it would cost a fair bit but thought I'd ask on here if anyone has done it, if they liked it, was it worth it...basically any info. Cheers x

It is an extremely common change of use and I would recommend you are a bit cheeky and if my houses like you's are for sale you study the your move/Zoopla listing and then ask for viewings just to be nosy.

Sometimes it is better to knock down and rebuild though, so that you have thicker walls and a better insulated roof etc. Might be cheaper than faffing around trying to get the original building up to scratch.

What the hell are you doing? An outbuilding with a drain in it already, and you aren't making a sauna and shower room?!?!
