Aww, you guys are putting me off now, I thought it was going to be my forever home 😂

How can a room without a door, up a staircase from a kitchen, be described as a bedroom? Without a proper door it surely can't be sold as a bedroom, as loft conversions without a door can't be.

wizzywig · 15/07/2017 11:28

Good for a holiday let/ single person/ airbnb.

viques · 15/07/2017 11:40

I couldn't understand why there was so much staircase on view, then clicked on the floor plans! I would be very worried about a cooker right at the bottom of the only stair, I imagine the fire safety people would worry too. some people have mentioned renting out, I don't think it would be safe enough to rent out.

Back away.

I can't get my head around that "kitchen".

"Cozy" came to mind.
Great for a couple or 1-small-child family

SwedishEdith · 15/07/2017 13:14

Is Hastings full of triangular houses? That holiday let is lovely but looks huge compared to the OP link.

SwedishEdith · 15/07/2017 13:21

I think the kitchen and bathroom could be reconfigured as there's dead space next to the stairs getting overly-invested in this house.

ineedamoreadultieradult · 15/07/2017 13:24

I think if any house were to be described as quirky it should be this house.

provider5sectorzz9 · 15/07/2017 13:30

Makes me think of a pretend house, like a Wendy house or a tree house

BonjourMinou · 15/07/2017 13:31

Absolutely bananas! Imagine trying to use that kitchen. What were they thinking?

OlennasWimple · 15/07/2017 13:32

Presumably it's a converted shop?

For once it's an appropriate use of the EA term "quirky"

SoupDragon · 15/07/2017 14:21

Without a proper door it surely can't be sold as a bedroom, as loft conversions without a door can't be

It depends what the building regulations were at the time of conversion.

dailydance · 15/07/2017 16:09

Needs an architects input (and a rebuild)

KingJoffreysRestingCuntface · 15/07/2017 16:12

Awkward?

Unsellable?

Justgivemesomepeace · 15/07/2017 16:13

A flippin shambles

VanellopeVonSchweetz99 · 15/07/2017 16:16

Strange.

ThomasHardyPerennial · 15/07/2017 16:39

Where on earth would you put a fridge? Can't see it included in the kitchen description Confused!

ThomasHardyPerennial · 15/07/2017 16:41

Ah, it's listed in the general description along with a washing machine. If they are in the kitchen, you'd end up with about 2 cupboards though. Bizarre.
