I'd describe it as MASSIVELY overpriced, myself.

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 14/07/2017 20:59

It is quirky, it also looks as though it used to be a shop.

SwedishEdith · 14/07/2017 22:01

It is cute but you can get this for only £5k more

SoupDragon · 14/07/2017 22:15

Was it built like that or has someone greedily split one property into two?

From google earth it's one property. It fills a triangular gap between the house next door and a footpath.

With TLC it could be nice actually. No worse than a one bed flat really only freehold and with only one joined neighbour.

summerfruitsquash · 14/07/2017 22:15

A headache.

This property looks like it just shouldn't exist.

Palomb · 14/07/2017 22:28

I came here to say 'triangular' but I see someone beat me to it!

Hideous is another potential suitable adjective.

SwedishEdith · 14/07/2017 22:31

Photo 9 shows it is definitely a triangle.

PugwallsSummer · 14/07/2017 22:32

Bizarre

EpoxyResin · 14/07/2017 22:33

Well that is the weirdest little wedge-shaped kitchen I've ever seen!

Joinourclub · 14/07/2017 22:34

Bijou

EllieQ · 14/07/2017 22:38

Built on someone's tiny garden. Might be worth checking historical maps to see what used to be there!

Erm I'd offer not flipping legal - when we had our extension done we had to have 2 solid doors between the toilet and kitchen.
This has a one door barrier.
How would that even pass survey?

Bluntness100 · 14/07/2017 22:46

To be fair it's very cheap. And that's because it's small and awkward.

I think that's how I'd describe it,,small, cheap and awkward. Awkward to furnish, awkward to live in, awkward to market, awkward to sell.

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 14/07/2017 22:47

Estate agents are keen on the phrase "deceptively spacious"
This is the opposite.
It's a Tardis in reverse. Smaller on the inside than the outside

Bluntness100 · 14/07/2017 22:47

It depends when it was built in regards to what regulations it needs to comply with,,,,I suspect it would pass.

user1497557435 · 14/07/2017 22:49

Yup. Quirky - would need quirky furniture too.

Bluntness100 · 14/07/2017 22:52

The bathroom is in the basement?which means if you need in the night you have to go from the top of the house, down past the living room on the first floor and down into the basement? Then cook in the basement and take it upstairs to the living room?

Yup awkward,,,,

AskBasil · 14/07/2017 22:53

Massive fuck up.

A cooker right at the bottom end of a staircase?

All I can think of looking at that, is house-fire.

silkybear · 14/07/2017 22:57

Not a good area of Hastings...poor location, impossible to sell, doesn't look safe or practical, overpriced. Nope.

GolyHuacamole · 14/07/2017 23:01

It looks like a Mr Man house, Mr Triangle's house or even Little Miss Triangle.

It's certainly unusual.

greendale17 · 14/07/2017 23:07

Tiny
Overpriced
Ridiculous

scissormister · 14/07/2017 23:19

Would be lovely for a single person if the area was also lovely

FagAshMIL · 14/07/2017 23:29

Fucking awful
