Conservatory / extension company in Bedford / Northamptonshire

I am looking to get an extension or conservatory with solid roof, I have been given recommendations from numerous companies but getting them to even visit to quote is a pain at the moment.
Has anyone got any experience of good companies to approach or ones to avoid?
