We are looking at getting some sliding door wardrobes as they offer a good practical solution. However, I am struggling to find a range that works because we are having a run of sliding doors and then a corner and then another hinged door unit. The high gloss sliding doors are in a slightly different finish to the high gloss hinged doors so even if the colour name is the same, they do look just slightly different. I could use mirror hinged doors but then will have too many mirrors. The sliding glass and mirrored doors don't match anything in the hinged range. I know most people would do one or the other but they are modular so hoping to mix and match to suit our space.
Has anyone mixed and matched sliding doors and hinged doors - pictures would be helpful - and does it look ok ?
