aside from building permission/building regs..... think I need some layout design ideas- any tips? no travertine or marble. Maybe grey slate looking tiles? anything to avoid or great sources of inspiration? thanks. Is an L shaped guest bathroom with door at narrow end. I want to put shower in the little enclosed bit if that makes sense. Would it be horrible having a toilet facing the shower?

You might be restricted in what you can buy if you only have a week. We had a similar time frame and had to make many compromises because most places expected to deliver within a month or so. It all worked out but most of the items were off the shelf rather than what we would have chosen.

We have a concealed cistern (can't see it here) but it's designed with a removable top panel. As you can see this is tucked into to eves but we have managed to squeeze in shower, toilet, sink unit and storage.

Hi, as requested, I was aiming to add a little texture (but not anything that would harbour dirt). So I'm thinking the amount of texture on a piece of slate. To summarise, choose a non slip tile for safety, not a shiny one.
