Just me?

The previous owners of our house used them to create light in the bathroom, and they make the room very cold and are bitch to keep clean.

Has anyone had similar and how did you resolve it? I'm pondering regrouting it all and adding extra insulation elsewhere, or saying sod-it and ripping them out.

Would you be allowed to put in a frosted window instead? Worth a call to the council planning dept to ask?

I actually don't think it needs to be there at all - there is another conventional window. So we could possibly just brick it up.

It's more what our options are to keep it/improve it.

I'm surprised they could get building regs for that! I'd just replace with a proper double glazed window.

There is a lot about this house that is slightly eyebrow raising when it comes to building regs! Hmm Grin
