I'm intrigued by the number of people on here who have said they wouldn't have an induction hob in case of power cuts, because they wouldn't be abe to cook a meal. Do people really have so many power cuts and for such a long time that it affects their choice of cooker?
We've had a couple of prolonged power cuts (a few hours each time) since we've had an induction hob. I've just used the gas camping stove and got in with it. It certainly hasn't been enough to.make me regret buying an induction hob. I guess I would feel differently if I experienced several power cuts a week but does that really happen?
