Fitting filters to IKEA udden exhayst fan insanity

I am trying to fit the charcol filter in the udden exhaust fan. It just won't stay put. It seems to only fasten on one side so the other keeps dropping down.
Anyone else had this problem? It is driving me nuts. Trying to get it fixed for mil before we have to leave.

Have you referred to the instruction booklet? I've just had a quick look and it might be the locking bit on page 20?

I haven't got this model myself but I do have an Ikea extractor fan.

Thanks for your reply. We got it sorted.
The picture in the instructions looks like it should attach to a pole like thing. Then inside the motor it had a screw with arrows pointing ith ways and the lock/ unlock symbols.
In the end it is some tiny non discript nubs no where near all the symbols.
At least now we know.
