Painting the outside of an acrylic bath

Hello! I've just ordered an acrylic freestanding bath from Bathstore (www.bathstore.com/products/cambridge-bath-with-traditional-resin-feet-1497.html) - very excited!

When it arrives, I really want to paint the outside in F&B Yellowcake to contrast with some green tiles we've ordered. I've found quite a lot of contradictory advice on the best way to paint the outside of an acrylic bath and whether it's even possible. Some people seem to have just used emulsion... I was planning to use eggshell. Confused

Has anyone done this and how did you do it? Has anyone done it a while ago and how does it look after being used for months/years? Very grateful for any advice!

Did you do this? I am about to order an acrylic bath and have them paint it in, surprisingly the same colour!
