Has anyone used Ikea bathroom fittings?

I really like the look of the double basins with the glossy godmorgen vanity unit underneath, they are reasonably priced and come with a 10yr guarantee but I can't help suspecting my plumber will not be happy if presented with them!
Has anyone used them (do they hold up well) or fitted them?

Thanks.

We have exactly that unit and sink. Been in place for 3 years and looks as good as new. We put hansgrohe taps on them. No problems. Double sink such a good thing for teeth brushing in the morning. The only bit I'm a bit meh about is the plugs

Oh great! That's good to know Smile What's wrong with the plugs?
Yes I like the idea of avoiding dh spitting toothpaste on my hand when I reach for the tap at the wrong time Grin

There's s nothing wrong with the plugs (and they may have changed) but when I'm feeling picky I think the little knob that you pull spoils the line (jeez, listen to me...).

We've just put in ikea sinks and vanity units, plumbers happy with quality but the wastes were tricky to match with their traps so I bought new wastes at the plumbing shop with 'click clack' plugs. Look fab!

I sell them (to be upfront and honest and all that) The feedback I get is that there isn't the issues with fitting them that there is with IKEA kitchens. I get plenty of contractors/builders in buying on behalf of clients and they don't seem to have a problem with IKEA plumbing as such as long as they read the damn assembly instructions and don't just guess

We have the same unit and sink - love it! Amazing how much stuff you can fit in and it be super organised

We put the IKEA taps on too as they are water saving (similar in style to the pic posted)

My plumber was more than happy to fit it after I braced myself for a debate - he hated the IKEA kitchen sink/waste so this was a surprise!

I don't think you'll be disappointed
