Can't get at the fuse in a sealed plug - help!

I have screwdriver, a selection of fuses and am all ready to go but I can't get into the sodding plug. Has anyone got any idea how to get at the fuse (pic attached)? I've poked it hard at both ends, and also tried levering it up at both ends but the gap is too narrow. I do not want to admit defeat and ask DH...

You need a tiny screwdriver like the ones designed for glasses screws. There is a little notch at the bottom of the fuse cover. Pop the screwdriver in there and wiggle it upwards to pop it out.

Thanks! I can see a small gap, but only on the sides - there seems to be a bit of plastic in the middle. I'll have a go at finding something that will fit in the side, maybe a kitchen knife. I take it that I'm aiming at the lower end of the fuse cover (at the bottom of the picture above)?

Yes, there should be a small notch there. It is only tiny but the point of a knife should be able to get in there.

Did it! Had to lever up from the top not the bottom, though. Thanks!
