Cost of moving a boiler a metre?

Planning a new kitchen and the boiler is currently in an awkward place. If I could move it a metre to the right it would make life soooo much easier.

Any ideas of the rough cost before I start getting carried away in my head?

Cost £1k to move my boiler from an upstairs bedroom to kitchen about 8 years ago! But in the end it was such a mess of pipework they capped it off and took in a new supply route from celler. So hopefully less than that for you...

Yikes - I really hope so :o

I asked the guy who services my boiler about moving it. He said boilers of that age don't like being moved and tend to fail. So moving it would involve buying a new boiler.

My boiler is 23 years old, however.
