Places to live near Coalville

Hello I currently live in Coalville/Ibstock. I am looking to move away to a new area. Please could you recommend places which are a 20/30 minute drive from Coalville. Thanks :)

I came on to say Ibstock .
We have friends in Heather which is nice; community focussed, scarecrow festival etc..

Town or village? Schools? There are lots of villages if you like that kind of thing, not much to choose between them. I'd look at Ashby de la Zouch personally, it's a lovely small town. What's up with Coalville (I know it's a bit run down) or is it personal reasons?

There's also Shepshed/Loughborough and someone will probably come on to say Woodhouse Eaves which seems to be the MN centre of Leicestershire!

How about Ulverscroft or Newtown Linford in preference to Woodhouse Eaves?

Or Markfield

Thankyou everyone, i'll have a look at all of them. There's nothing wrong with Coalville, we're just after a fresh start somewhere new :)
