Where to advertise country house in the West Country for sale in addition to Estate agents?

We are selling a large edge of village house in the Exmoor national park. The trouble is a) Not everyone wants a large old house so the number of potential buyers is smaller than for a typical house and b) the estate agents aren't getting many viewers.

We don't want to ditch the estate agents but I'd like to help the sale along by handing out flyers perhaps near London commuter train stations, or advertising (cheaply) in the press. Has anyone done this and did it work?

Thanks!

What size / price?
What about Saville, Sotheybys, Jackson Stops and Staff, Fine and Country who all specialise in premium property.

You contact the property sections of the weekend newspapers.
Also worth contacting property search agents.

Country Living magazine has a property section and I think a good few others too.

We sold ours outside South Molton fairly quickly through a local agent but our back up plan if it didn't sell was to have a joint agency agreement with one of the big Exeter agents as they advertise in London. Might be worth considering

With a limited market, are you sure the listing is giving all the info it should? I've just had a quick look on Rightmove and there's an Arts and Crafts beauty with no floor plan and no room dimensions.
