Has anybody had any bespoke oak furniture made for them?

If so, please give me some ideas of a good company to ask to make an oak bookcase?

Also, if you have had a awful experience then please tell me

We got a bespoke bookcase (pine in our case) from a company called Pinetum. Our local furniture shop stocked them, but we changed dimensions and number of shelves required (although they are moveable IYSWIM). They did do oak too.

It's now 11 years later, and they still look fab.

Yep. We got several chest height bookcases, and one tall one.

I can vouch for the sturdiness as we had to get a joiner in to dismantle the big one to move it went back together no bother though and (apart from one small dent) you'd never know.
