Sway Tower in the New Forest is for sale! Gorgeous views but a bit pricey I imagine...

don't fancy living in something called sway tower, sounds a bit too wobbly.

YelloDraw · 29/07/2016 12:19

Oh wow oh wow oh wow!

Love it.

The 14th floor views, to die for.

Somanyvipers · 29/07/2016 12:20

It's amazing!

Hassled · 29/07/2016 12:22

That looks amazing - love the pool.

Here's my offering - an old water mill. Probably a flood risk, though.

Bambooshoots14 · 29/07/2016 12:22

Nope not for me either

Haha I know right! It is near a village called Tiptoe as well, v. quaint names around there.

It is weird that there is a gap between the fifth and fourteenth floor but I imagine those have been blocked up? Gorgeous view of the Forest and the sea tho.

Love the water mill but wonder if it might be a bit damp/chilly?

Sway Tower has an interesting history too, one of the first big buildings to be made from concrete from a design by Sir Christopher Wren (communicated from Beyond the Veil via a medium!!).

It says they're uninhabited - guessing they're in a bit of a state. Its lovely but a bit creepy!

I'd be scared of being up top - only one way up/down!

Oh I assumed it was just big enough for a staircase and didn't actually have floors?

PogoBob · 29/07/2016 13:48

Amazing property but not sure I could ever live in it, type of place that would be fab for a weekend style.

It looks like 5 - 10 are uninhabited and 11 - 13 are rented to telephone companies for mast type things, not sure if I'd want to sleep with those a few floors above my head however safe they are.
