Hi Mumsnet,
I am planning to knock through between two rooms. I am hoping for an "optionally open plan" effect. So rather than the current single doorway (only point of entry to second room) I wanted to put folding doors in so the two rooms can be opened up as one. However I wanted to retain the ability to have them as separate rooms and go through a single door way. Can all this be achieved with one set of folding doors?
Kind of like www.internaldoors.co.uk/1930-s-engineered-oak-door-bi-fold-kit?utm_source=google&utm_medium=shopping&utm_campaign=merchant-centre&gclid=CjwKEAjwpLa5BRCTwcXS6_rpvC4SJACTDQMM7yNrfZb0JYrfruYB1_xMyc3XFOOXQMG_o7Rd9VeFWxoCWTDw_wcB but I would want the longer set of doors to be fixed in position like a wall when in "two room mode".
I hope this makes sense! Thanks for your help.
