Mutual swap own front door property vs shared entrance ......

Hi all I was just wondering, what is more likely to get a mutual swap? A beautiful Victorian conversion property in a sought after area with shared garden, and communal front door . Or or a maisonette in a not as sought after location but has own front door, own garden, and own drive, also internal stairs whereas flat is on one level?...

Many thanks in advance

Well, personally I'd prefer my own front door, own garden and own drive, but I watch enough property programmes to know that we all have very different ideas of what is 'ideal', and for every person like me that prefers the one, I suspect there will be another who prefers the other.

So - for one, being near a train station is a bad things as it might be noisy and busy, but for the next person it's great as it's convenient and easy to get to work.
Own drive is great if you have a car, but nothing special if you are in London and only ever use public transport. and so on and so on and so on.

Purely depends on what the swapper is looking for! There's no right or wrong. Location is always cited as the key feature about any place but for me no drive and no private garden would be deal breakers (not so bothered about the communal entrance).
