what colour paint and carpet do you have in your bedroom please?

We have recently moved into our new house and had a huge side and rear extension built including our bedroom with ensuite

The ensuite is sort of off the corridor going to the bedroom, so that it can be used by visitors as well as us

So we need to paint and carpet the corridor and bedroom

The bedroom is a bit of a nightmare to decide on colour it has 2 windows going south and west

The only thing is that we have some dark green fully lined curtains that are great quality and so would like to keep them, they are from my mum so we will be getting new bedding anyway and a new bed with headboard

But we are completely lost what colour to do for carpet and wall paint for a south west facing bedroom

What colours do you guys have please?

We have white walls with black accessories so we change the bedding colour often to update the room. We have gray carpet (gala in concrete) its quite cheep but i love it. We now have it all the way down the stairs and when we move will be using it again.

We have a west facing room with a light neutral carpet and walls painted in dulux heritage Cornish clay. It would go very well with green curtains (our curtains have lots of green in them).
