So, our old shed gave up the ghost and we very much enjoyed taking the bloody thing apart and building it's replacement... In January... While the contents of the old shed enjoy their stay sprawled out in my small kitchen/diner...
Anyway, new shed is everything it's predecessor wasn't - secure, sturdy, and dry
Anyway, I want to put a power cable into the new shed, but am worried about letting water/dampness in by drilling a hole.
Any advice on this? Where to drill it? Do I just make it as small as possible, or is there a secret method of somehow sealing it around the cable that I haven't thought of?
Sorry if I'm missing the obvious, me and DH get by, but neither of us are DIY gods to say the least!
Thanks. (btw, the cable is already laid and I'll get my electrician friend to wire it up for me.)
