Has anyone had a quote for a Siematic or Hacker kitchen?

Hoping to get a handleless all-singing all-dancing bespoke kitchen - has anyone got (or seen) a kitchen by Siematic or Hacker? Heard they are good but I don't know the real lowdown.

Has anyone got them or ever considered them? Are they totally rip-off or are the carcasses and hardwear great quality?

I went with Siematic and regret it. They're very difficult to deal with and for the money just not worth the aggravation. Next place will be Roundhouse or Bulthaup.

New ALNO kitchen showroom opening in East Putney under the name of Interior Design Concepts.
As its new I am sure they will have some good deals to make good customer relation.
It's worth checking Samstephe if you haven't finalised yet and live in South West London.

I had a Hacker kitchen fitted July 2015. Very disappointed, one cupboard door and a drawer already warped. It replaced an Alno kitchen which was good for 20 years. Don't recommend at all.

As a professional kitchen installer with over 35 years experience I would not recommend Häcker. If your kitchen goes well all good if you have any issues you are very unlikely to get them resolved as Häcker have a very poor customer support department. I could name many brands of kitchens some more and some less expensive but all with a better support network. In the last few years kitchens have become the must have show piece but don't be fooled by fancy showrooms and smarmy sales people. And finally to anyone looking for a new kitchen do your research, good searching.

HI,
I can't decide between a siematic, rational or hacker kitchen. Is it worth paying so much more for a Siematic kitchen?

I have a 40 year old siematic kitchen installed. It still look great and less than 5 years old I would say. The cabinets are solid and well made. They last for sure!

Honesttodog · 11/04/2017 23:23

robthebuilder what kitchen brand do you recommend? This is my chance at getting my dream kitchen, hacker seems like a sensible choice but I'm unsure about the pretty drab colour range/finishes.

So exhausted by choices right now, really need to choose as builders will be demolishing soon!!!

@drughani definitely stay away from SieMatic unless you like hassle, frustration, have way too much time on your hands or have really low blood pressure. They insist on 50% upfront, then 50% before installationthen DO NOT take responsibility for anything that goes wrong. It's now been a year for me and I'm having to go through the legal system to just get them to install what I ordered and paid for. They're not worth the moneyunless you have way too much money and want to throw it away and then spend a lot of time chasing it. :)

Just been through all of this with my place. Siematic is a far superior brand to Hacker but there's not a huge amount in it when it comes to quality, same applies with Alno. Talk to the kitchen team at PAD 0208 947 1577, they gave me a great understanding of all the different brands, and got me an amazing kitchen for a very reasonable price.
