Why would you have your EA photos taken in November with full Christmas dec's up?

Just been looking at a property which has been listed on Rightmove today, so photographed very recently, and it has a bloody great Christmas tree cluttering the already cluttered lounge along with loads of other decorations which just distract you when looking at the photos?

I don't understand why you'd put your tree up in November if you know it's going to be photographed.

I wouldn't even put my decs up in December if it were being photographed- I'd get the photos done then put the tree up.

It's different if they're up when you view as you can't put your life on hold just because your house is on the market but I truly don't understand why you'd make your house look really cramped when you could so easily avoid it.

Is it me?

Barking mad.
They'll have to have the photos redone if it hasn't sold by the end of December.
Mind you, lots of people wonder where they'd put a Christmas tree when looking round a new property.
Does it have an enormous Reception Hall like Downton?

It's a 2 up 2 down which is what makes it look so bad- the tree touches the ceiling!

it might be newly listed, but it might have been there last year and taken off. And your post gives some hints why it hasn't sold!!
