Please help me to find this old wallpaper!

It's about 17 years old and blown vinyl but I've searched the Anaglypta old patterns and can't find it there. We have had the house re-wired and need to replace large strips of wallpaper or have All the walls stripped and replastered. The latter would cost a fortune as its a large house ????

Does anyone recognise the pattern or know of a site where I can search for the image to match it. In all likelihood, it is not manufactured any more. Are there companies who make wallpaper to match an old design? We would probably need about four rolls.

Thanks to anyone who has any ideas Smile

Could this be it?

Just for the record, this is not at all what we would chose (plain plastered halls would be lovely!) but we have had a quote to strip and replastered the hallways and stairs (4 storeys) and it came to many thousands of pounds so £40 is sounding just dandy and we can live with the 80's vibe Wink

fwiw, I think it's really pretty. I hope these old wallpapers make a comeback because they hide so much!

The walls of my old house are awful, blown plaster, cracks and holes - a heavy anaglypta is just what I need and much cheaper than replastering.

I too think it's pretty and it hides a multitude of sins in old houses. We have the original Lincrusta (the Edwardian version of blown vinyl on our ceilings, friezes above the picture rails and panels below the dado rails in the hall) and everyone loves it.

These patterns will make a comeback, they always do.

So glad you've found it, I recognised it from my dads dining room, I picked it in 1991. It's lovely painted pale grey. I did his last year with Crown Snowfall.

I need help finding this wallpaper. Purchased about 12 years ago and I don't have manufacturer or patter name. I need a bookshelf paper which has white shelves and the only one I can find is a Brunschwig pattern for more than $600 a roll-- too high for my budget! Any help is greatly appreciated!

Perhaps it would be cheaper to get someone to paint the design for you?

In the same boat cat
After an extensive refurb programme 10 years ago involving too much replastering and mess, when I needed to have the house rewired this year, the guys just filled in the gaps in two rooms, one a walk in closet and one a little used bedroom..
The closet would have been a nightmare for an area four by 6 ins near the light switch and same in bedroom.
In fact it had been done a month before I noticed that one. They aren't heavy patterns and are all white so not too bad.
I still have some artexing on two ceilings. Like you say, it hides the cracks 😀
Oops make that three ceilings..I forgot about the hall 🙄

Hi community, I need some help please tracking down this blown vinyl wallpaper. We've been dog sitting and we live I'm a rented house. The dog had shredded lots of paper from the wall so we need to replace it. I'm desperate to find the same wallpaper to replace only a couple of panels, otherwise we are going to have to find something similar and replace the whole hall, stairs and landing! Help please!

I love Lincrusta in old houses, my DDad sadly passed, was a decorator for 50 years and painted many, many walls of Lincrusta. I just Googled it to see if you could still get it as DS and DD have Victorian houses.

You can, £400 a roll 😮.

EDITED TO ADD - ha ha how old is this thread I have just commented on!
