Has anyone had a quartz worktop fitted? Do they make a lot of mess doing it?

I have just spent ages cleaning my new kitchen in time for the worktops to be fitted tomorrow. DH said they will probably make a lot of mess. They are doing two long runs and an island then undermounting a sink and drilling the tap hole on site. Will it be awful? I have people coming over tomorrow and limited time to clean it all up (bad planning on my part!)

No, it was all very clean. They did the tempting & drilling in the garden and then just put them in place.

No - pAinless experience.

In fact they ensured it was sparkling to show off how amazing the workshop was. It's never been that clean since.

Ah ok thats not too bad then - we have a lovely engineered wood floor that went in a few weeks ago and I am a bit precious about it currently Grin

Might be hanging around in the background flinching as they work Wink
