New build flat- are concrete floors good for noise insulation?

Going to look at a new purpose built flat - I'm hoping that it will have concrete floors between ground and first.
My parent's flat has wooden floors and noise tranmission is a problem.
Are concrete floors good?

Yes, very good.
Noise still travels down the stairs so good doors in rooms are a big help in reducing noise too.
