Our plumber has highly recommended we install a water softener to protect our new pipework and appliances following some replumbing.
I am not keen, especially as threw away the one that came with the house as it literally turned my barnet into something that closely resembled a candyfloss.
That said, it makes a lot of sense so I wondered whether anyone knows of one that can be finely tuned to provide a low level of water softening?
Your advice would be greatly appreciated.
