Can anyone help? (Personal recommendation of tradesmen in Manchester)

Living in Scotland but looking for some painting and general maintenance on our house in Chorlton.

We would really appreciate any recommendations for a good painter, joiner, floor sander and/or building contractor?

I don't know Chorlton but there are quite a few active FB groups for recommendations / general locally. If you search under Trafford buy & Sell, or Hale and Altrincham General - those are fairly local and if you join the groups you might get some recommendations from there.
