House about to go on the market, tips/advice please!

As above! EA coming out Monday to do photos etc so have this weekend to get rid of the junk and start moving boxes of stuff already packed out. Have family close by with a spare room so boxes being moved there for the time being.

Any tips or advice you can offer? This is my first time selling :)

We are at the same stage although we are delaying going live as for 2 weeks as we will be on holiday and the bridge to get to us for the nearest town is closed for the same 2 weeks and there is a 30 mile deroute to get to the house. As soon as we return everything will be ready to press go and put it live on the internet. We have moved before but we have a ds in tow this time so it is very different he is nearly 6 and asking lots of questions (very excited)

deal with unfinished jobs and iffy DIY.

for example, if you have a valve held in place with a screwdriver in the airing cupboard, it WILL be spotted and no-one sane will buy from you.

Thank you. Lots of odd jobs and painting done today. Living room, kitchen and dd room had a deep clean, hoping I can keep it like this now!
