Can anyone recommend a Corian supplier in the London area?

I am finding it difficult to get quotes for the supply and fit of a Corian kitchen worktop without buying an entire kitchen. Can anyone recommend a supply and fit service that they have used, independent of the kitchen they are fitting?

I am in London and in the process of using Envy Worksurfaces. They are up North but travel to London twice a week. I can't recommend yet because all they've done is come and templated, I'm waiting for the installation, but you could get in touch for a quote and I'll try and remember to post once they're done. The price I got seemed competitive and they've been pleasant to deal with.

Yup - Try googling Mr Worktops. I think he's near Herne Hill / Brixton.

Hi there!

Try worktops.co they've provide Corian worktops (other acrylic materials too) and they have specialist fitting and existing worktop replacement services too.

Sounds odd that you can't get a quote without a kitchen included!

I tried Mr Worktops, went into the 'showroom' with my plans to get a quote, followed up with an email, chased again with a phone call, they never got a quote to me.

Thanks for getting back to me.... I suddenly thought that Corian worktops wasn't really a friday night MN thread topic!

The problem I have had so far is that of the 5 companies I have contacted, 1 replied and said we only do kitchens with worktops, another said he was too busy, and the rest have not replied. I have got another company who have said they are quoting, but I haven't heard anything for weeks now, and I am disinclined to chase them up, as it doesn't bode well.

Mashpot, am looking forward to hearing how you are getting on with Envy Worktops...

Reporting back to say that Envy were brilliant. They came and fitted today and it looks amazing. It took them at least 1.5 hours longer than it should've thanks to a cock up by my builder but they just got on with it. They were helpful with all my questions, turned up and did the job when they said they would and charged me less than the other quotes I got.

Happy to say I would recommend. Give me a shout if you had any other questions.

Hi mashpot, thanks so much for that! Very helpful.... I have now got 1 quotation, but it is HIGH and from a company that look great, but are used to catering to top end design companies etc. Will get Envy to quote and might just PM you if I have any more queries,.... thanks so much!
