hi, we are thinking about moving to Lincolnshire from south London. we are basically looking for a safe and nice place to be with kids. my husband is waiting an answer for a job in Lincoln and I have an interview next week (fingers crossed). My job would be within the south bu area but not idea of what does means, any ideas? originally we wanted to based in Lincoln (husband does not drive) but look like I will need to spend my life in the car....any advise on areas to look up/avoid?
many thanks

thanks again for the answers, really appreciate the help.
snala the second house is in hawthorn avenue area, new primary school? do you know the name? I thought the closest one was the chad varah primary school, if there is another one, maybe we could still go for that one
I don't think we could choose school as we are nearly at the end of the year and way out of applications/selection time.
vivalebeaver we our maximum budget is 900£ (one house is 850 and the other one 900).

BPR area is lovely, walkable to town centre.
Yy to thinking about a moped or similar as a stop-gap.

thanks! we loved the area and the house, cant believe how much you can get for your money in Lincoln, we pay more in London for a 2 bed garden flat, and now we are getting a 4 bed with a huge garden, so exited about the new adventure! if any of you can recommend places/activities for kids? If any local mum likes a cup of coffee somewhere with a Spanish mum with 2 kids, I will be even happier!

I'm not local enough to know about groups etc, if you're on fb I recommend 'liking' The Lincolnite for local news, and joining a selling page to ask about groups and meet ups Smile
