Do you tip furniture removal men after a successful move?

We gave the lead mover £100 to be shared among the five movers. We gave it before they started ....., which I'd read somewhere was 'a good idea'.

It certainly worked in our case - tidy, helpful, careful removers. We were delighted with their work (packing and move, 1 day).
