Sorry, those are in the way, the kitchen isnt that wide. And sitting between the sink and stove, things will get dripped, spalshed and spattered on them. Yuck.

I want to put a tub chair next to our Aga, so when I get up at stupid o'clock I can sit there toasty warm and MN in peace. I can't find one I like yet :(

Ah, you've never lived in a cold house with an aga have you?
My folks had a couple of chairs either side of theirs too. However it makes more sense in a old stone farm house. Both chairs were usually full of cats. I remember when we had that fitted but didn't yet have heating in the rest of the house. Mother would hang my clothes in the bar on the front to warm.
