I wanted built in furniture in our new bathroom and went with Victoria Plumb which was who our plumber recommended.
I chose it all, has been fitted. Plumber then tells us its not great quality (thanks for your shit recommendation then!).
We noticed, after the plumber had finished, that the toilet seat is a bit loose. DH had a look so he could tighten it up but you cannot get to the fixings for the seat at all.
We had a kitchen and bathroom fitter out recently to quote for the kitchen and I was telling him about it so he had a look (he also rated Victoria Plumb and said there is nothing wrong with what we have). He noted how loose it was and also that it isn't the right seat for the toilet, it's too small as it doesn't go all the way to the front edge! Plumber who fitted made no mention of this. Kitchen fitter also confirmed the toilet pan has to be taken out of the unit to change the seat. He said there are usually clips or something where you just undo them and change the seat.
Why the hell would you have a toilet seat where you have to call a plumber to take it out of the concealed unit just to change the seat!
Does anyone else have this?
