Only Good Homes Magazine, but quite exciting! Still can't believe how well the building work went and how great all of our tradesmen were....Sorry cant really show off about this in real life, so posting here

It looks amazing Marmite, it must be so exciting to have the acknowledgement of the magazine as well.

Had a look at the plans and its tricky to explain. The kitchen bit is longer and measures approximately 5900mm x 3028 wide (external dimensions). The dining area is not as long and measures 3600 long by 3000 wide. We did also have quite a lot of work done on knocking through existing rooms etc... We are in quite an expensive part of the country though (not London).

Just remembered that the new oak floor was 59 square meters which include the extension, remodelled bit ( (think slightly bigger than new extension) and smallish hallway - HTH...

That is lush. Ooh I'd be showing off in real life to. I only have a little conservatory added onto my house and I always show it off

It's lovley, very light, airy & spacious. We are in the middle of a similar build and am feeling very drained by it all, but looking at yours really focuses the mind that it should all be worth it. How long did it take to complete if you don't mind me asking?

The building work took 16.5 weeks in total and we didn't have a kitchen the whole time. But it was worth the wait I hope I never have to was up in the bath again though.

In a strange way I quite liked all of the dust as I had an excuse for the state of the house
