Leaving a note for the people who are buying our house off us?

We are assured that we are moving on Friday, by our solicitor although I will believe it when I see it.

I am writing a note for the people buying our house. What should I put in it? This is our first house. When we moved in we got a scribble left for us, a freezer full of loose breadcrumbed things (Findus crispy pancake? chicken kiev?) and a cellar full of junk. I'd like to leave something a bit nicer for the new owners!

What did you put in your note? I've put in recs for the doctors nearby that we like, takeaways and the names of people who live on either side.

I inherited a garden that was designed by a well known local garden designer so I was delighted to to be left a plan and calendar of what to do every month - still googling plants so I know what to cut back and when (and I'm not a complete novice).

When I purchased my first property the woman left a bottle of champagne in my he fridge. When I sold the flat I did the same with a note wishing the new owner well and my forwarding address should any mail arrive lol! Think it's a nice gesture that I appreciated and wanted to 'pay forward'.
