Wind chimes in the bathroom! Now there's a thought

Actually I do have fish wind chimes in the downstairs loo. Made me jump the other day as DH at opened the window and the back door and they actually chimed.

That last one ...I'd love to wash my hands via a vomiting gold swan!

I'm wondering where one would even go to buy a giant swan tap.

That's nothing. You should see my bathroom. We haven't decorated it in the five years we've lived here. Blue walls with fish stencils, bright orange pine cladding, metal fish and seashells and starfish nailed to the wall and the original 90's pale peach suite. Wanna picture? Hold on to your dinner if you do.

What's that going on in photo number 8? Is is some sort of dead chicken voodoo sacrifice ritual hanging from the ceiling?

Ilovemydog that does sound unfortunate for your visitors to endure, but is it really as bad as the one in the picture?

Yes. It is vile. Unfortunately the stuff that's stuck on the walls seems to be cemented on, we can't get it off without possibly pulling plaster off as well.

I cannot wait until we get our arses into gear and nuke that room.

Visitors aren't allowed upstairs.

Ilove, a tin of off white eggshell would do wonders, even with the stuck on wildlife.

I agree with Beryl - paint the tongue and groove and try a hammer and chisel on the sealife under one edge to see if it'll come off.

Gorgeous house. Needs a new bathroom and some more but I would give anything to move to a house like that which would cost about twice that if it was here in south east England
