Can anyone help me find a wendy house for nearly 3yo DD?

Moved into our new house a couple of months ago and am now looking to do the garden end of next month. I wanted to pick all of your wonderful brains for advice on wendy houses with slides. Has anyone had this brand or similar? Any comments? She has outgrown her ELC plastic slide so I thought this would work well and give us storage for her trikes and other garden toys underneath.

My other question was whether you set these stilt houses onto grass or whether red brick would be a good base? I happen to have a lot of that in a pile in the garden already, so would be handy if I could use it!

Also if anyone has any ideas on what I can use old red bricks for. So far had idea of a BBQ or a pathway, but would rather keep the garden as a large patch of grass with simple boarders on the edges... There must be something interesting/fun I can do with them!

Hi! We are purchasing a playhouse for our DDs (coming next week) aged 2 and 4. I looked at the one like you've linked to but thought that I would probably have to keep schlepping up and down ladder and through the small door . Of course if you decide the storage/slide is more important for you then you might put up with the accessibility problems .

As for the bricks, you don't say how many you have but my grandparents used some to edge their lawn. Laying them upright at a 45 degree angle between the lawn and the beds, I always thought they looked smart.

Haven't told the DDs yet, I want to try to build it whilst they're at playgroup for maximum surprise effect! I'm already thinking about sewing little curtains and kitting out the inside (instead of the more pressing issue of preparing a base....!)

We have the peardrop junior from gardenbuildingsdirect and whilst it looks great, it weathered very badly over the winter. The customer service has been terrible also. It has let rain water in clearly around the window. The floor became sodden and we are really struggling to dry it out for the new season. Do keep checking it's not letting in water.

MIL That sounds fab - I can't wait to do the curtains either! I am lucky with the bricks already there for a base. I'd love to put her toy kitchen in there so it moves out of my living area and a mini table with bunting over it so she can have tea parties
