Estate agent valuations varied - what did you sell your house for in the end?

I was quite shocked today to hear a 50k price difference between the top and bottom valuation. We had 4 in total.

Here's my question - what did your estate agents value your house at? What did you put it on for? How much did it sell for? How long did it take before you had an offer and what year did it sell?

we had 3
£550
£600
£650
put on for £650 and got £630

hifi its scary to think you could have lost 80k! We were the same with our last house

I know. The agent who valued it at £550 said he would eat his hat if it went for more than £550.

Shock Hifi. It was the same with our house. We showed more nerve than our estate agent in holding out for the price we wanted. It was a real eye opener that you have to do loads of research and have a clear idea how much your house is worth.
